Bria was first introduced to yoga at a young age. She had been practicing for 8 years when she decided to take the next step in her yoga journey, getting her RYT 200 hr certification through CorePower yoga in 2018. Bria practices yoga for physical health as well as emotional healing. She enjoys teaching students to use the power of their breath to enrich their yoga practice and strengthen their mental health. When she’s not teaching or practicing yoga, she is going to college to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Adolescent Development. She hopes to use her degree in unison with her yoga certification to help children learn mindfulness and the benefits of a yoga practice early in life. When she is not on the mat she also enjoys surfing, hiking, and expanding her knowledge of the practice through reading and workshops.
